Memory Expansion for Sharp X68000 (X68k) Model CZ-PXM1A Revision 1

The board comes fully assembled with all the components needed for operation — just plug it in.

Adds 8 MB of memory to your X68000, enabling compatibility with the full library of games and SX-Window (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SX-Window), the Sharp X68k’s graphical operating system.

Also adds MIDI functionality, compatible with a wide range of MIDI sound modules such as the Roland MT-32, Roland Sound Canvas (e.g., SC-55 MKII), and more.

The board installs into any available I/O slot on the rear of the X68000.

• Equipped with 3.5mm jack MIDI ports (a 3.5mm to DIN 5-pin adapter cable is required for connection to standard MIDI gear), the board can be mounted in any slot.
• 1 MIDI Out port & 1 MIDI In port
• MIDI address configuration via DIP switch
• Memory size configuration (up to +8 MB) also via DIP switch

Available Options (select the appropriate version on the product page):

• Standalone Board : Includes the board only. The 3.5mm MIDI jack ports are pre-soldered onto the board, everything is ready to use.
• C01 – Board + Backplate Kit: Includes the board and a smooth-finish 3D printed backplate for mounting in the X68000 I/O slot.
• C02 – Board + Backplate + 3.5mm to DIN 5-pin MIDI Cable: Includes the board, 3D printed backplate, and a 3.5mm to DIN 5-pin MIDI cable for connecting to a MIDI sound module.
• 12 MB Kit: Includes 2× C02 kits (2 boards, 2 backplates, 1× 3.5mm to DIN 5-pin MIDI cable). Dipswitches pre-configured for 2 boards usage
